PGT Geography Teacher Position at Suncity School, Gurugram
Suncity School in Gurugram seeks an experienced PGT Geography Teacher to lead geography education for high school students. This role focuses on designing engaging curriculum, fostering critical thinking, and ensuring students grasp geographical concepts with practical relevance.
The teacher will develop lesson plans aligning with the latest syllabus, incorporating modern teaching methods like project-based learning and field studies. Regular classroom interactions, student assessments, and parent-teacher collaborations will be part of daily responsibilities.
A postgraduate degree in Geography with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Four years of relevant teaching experience in geography, preferably in a school setting, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage.
The successful candidate will teach geography across grades 9 to 12, ensuring students understand global and regional dynamics, environmental issues, and geographical technologies. The role includes participation in school events, curriculum reviews, and mentoring junior teachers when needed.
