PRT Science General Teacher Position at Gav International School, Gurugram
Gav International School in Dlf 3, Gurugram seeks a dedicated PRT (Pupil/Primary Teacher) to teach General Science to students in the lower classes. This role is full-time and based in a dynamic, international educational environment. Core Responsibilities
Teaching General Science to students in Class I to V, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and national standards. Designing and delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that blend theory with practical experiments. Assessing student progress through continuous evaluation, including projects, quizzes, and classroom observations.
Additional Duties
Supporting the school’s extracurricular activities, such as science fairs, robotics clubs, or environmental awareness programs. Collaborating with the science department to update teaching resources and integrate modern educational tools. Participating in faculty meetings and professional development workshops to enhance teaching methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience
A graduate degree in Science or a related field is mandatory. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required for the role. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career growth.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, along with opportunities to contribute to a vibrant, forward-thinking educational community.
