Subject‑specific Responsibilities
Design and implement lesson plans that cover history, geography, economics, and political science aligned with the state syllabus. Facilitate classroom discussions that encourage analysis of current affairs and historical events. Use varied teaching aids, including maps, charts, and digital resources, to illustrate complex concepts. Coordinate with the PRT team to ensure smooth transition and support for students during the academic year.
Assessment and Practical Work
Develop formative and summative assessments such as quizzes, essays, and project reports that reflect learning outcomes in Social Science. Prepare students for district examinations by conducting mock tests and review sessions. Organize field trips to museums, government offices, and cultural sites to provide experiential learning. Evaluate student work with clear rubrics, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of B.Ed or D.El.Ed for teaching positions. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must possess strong command over Hindi and English to deliver lessons effectively.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. Experience with PRT teaching methods and familiarity with the Haryana educational board will be advantageous. Proven ability to manage diverse classrooms and adapt teaching strategies to meet student needs is essential.
