TGT Biology Teacher Job in Gurugram, Haryana | School Recruitment
Amity International School | Haryana seeks an experienced TGT Biology Teacher to join its dynamic biology department. This role focuses on delivering engaging, science-based lessons while fostering curiosity and critical thinking among students. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for hands-on biology teaching, alignment with modern curriculum standards, and a passion for nurturing young minds in a progressive school environment.
Daily responsibilities include preparing engaging lesson plans for biology topics like genetics, ecology, and human physiology. Conducting interactive experiments and demonstrations to reinforce classroom learning is essential. Managing student labs and ensuring safety protocols are followed daily. Engaging with students during class discussions and answering their queries promptly.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve collaborating with the biology department to align teaching methods with the latest syllabus updates. Participating in school-wide biology workshops or training sessions to improve teaching techniques. Assessing student performance through periodic tests, projects, and practical evaluations while maintaining detailed records. Contributing to the school’s extracurricular biology clubs or science fairs.
Periodic responsibilities include attending term-end examinations and preparing evaluation sheets for biology subjects. Collaborating with senior biology teachers to review lesson effectiveness and adjust teaching strategies as needed. Ensuring compliance with school policies on curriculum implementation and student safety in biology labs.
The successful candidate must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in biology. Four years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
The TGT Biology Teacher will receive a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a well-equipped biology lab and a supportive academic environment in Gurugram, Haryana.
