Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum while incorporating modern teaching methods. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance overall English teaching standards. Assess students regularly through written tests, oral presentations, and projects to measure comprehension and improvement. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and student performance trends.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Organize extracurricular events, such as poetry recitals, debates, or literary clubs, to enrich students’ language skills. Review and update teaching resources, including textbooks and digital materials, to ensure relevance and effectiveness in the classroom.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in English or a related field with at least four years of teaching experience. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid teaching certificate will be highly beneficial. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for nurturing young minds are essential.
