About This Role

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement chess programs for students of Aakar Universal School, aligning with the institution's vision and objectives.
2. Conduct regular chess tournaments, workshops, and coaching sessions for students, fostering a competitive and supportive environment.
3. Collaborate with the school administration to integrate chess into the curriculum, promoting its benefits for cognitive development and problem-solving skills.
4. Recruit and manage a team of chess instructors, ensuring high-quality coaching and mentoring for students.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with local chess clubs, organizations, and experts to enhance the school's chess program.
6. Plan and execute chess-themed events, exhibitions, and festivals, promoting the sport and fostering community engagement.
7. Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and suggest improvements to the chess program.
8. Participate in Chess Coach Recruitment in Haryana initiatives, networking with other institutions and experts to stay updated on best practices.
Required Qualifications
Aakar Universal School requires a postgraduate degree holder with at least two years of experience as a Chess Coach. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is not required for this role. However, TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
