Role Summary
Aakar Universal School is looking for a Music Teacher to lead the performing arts program in Uklana. The role involves managing the music department, organizing cultural events, and guiding students in vocal and instrumental training. This position plays a key role in shaping the school’s artistic culture and community engagement.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and conduct weekly music practice sessions for students in grades 1 to 12.
Coordinate with school leadership to integrate music activities into school events and festivals.
Oversee the maintenance and procurement of musical instruments and equipment.
Organize inter-house and inter-school music competitions.
Prepare students for state-level cultural programs and competitions.
Document student progress and prepare performance reports for parents.
Supervise the school choir and band groups during rehearsals and performances.
Liaise with external artists and trainers for workshops and guest sessions.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Graduation in Music (Vocal/Instrumental) from a recognized university.
Minimum 2 years of experience in music training or coordination in a school.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
Good to Have
TET/CTET qualification.
Experience in event management and cultural programming.
Knowledge of classical, folk, and contemporary music forms.
Skills We Value
Strong leadership to guide student groups and junior staff.
Organizational skills to manage schedules, budgets, and logistics.
Clear communication to interact with students, parents, and school authorities.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.12,000 - Rs.20,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include PF, medical reimbursement, and access to school transport.
