PGT Botany Teacher Position at RPS Sainik School, Hisar
RPS Sainik School in Hansi is seeking a dedicated PGT Botany Teacher to join its academic team, where passionate educators shape young minds in science and nature studies. The role requires a strong command of botany principles, hands-on classroom experience, and the ability to inspire students through engaging lectures and practical demonstrations.
The teacher will lead Botany classes at the senior level, design curriculum-aligned lesson plans, and maintain a lab for fieldwork and experiments. They must coordinate with science coordinators, assist in extracurricular botany clubs, and ensure compliance with school policies on subject delivery. Regular assessments, student progress tracking, and participation in departmental meetings are also part of the responsibilities.
A postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field is essential, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in high school or equivalent, is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. A strong interest in plant biology, ecology, and environmental science will further enhance the candidate’s suitability.
