Job Overview
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our faculty at Amrita Devi International School Kalwas Hisar. As a PGT English Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and cultural landscape of our school. You will be responsible for teaching English to students from grades 9 to 12 and will be expected to create engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver lessons to students from grades 9 to 12
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
- Prepare and administer tests and exams as per the school's curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Participate in school events and activities that promote English language and literature
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the decision-making process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in English language and literature
Eligibility Criteria
- Post-graduate degree in English (M.A./M.Com) with B.Ed/D.El.Ed
- TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum 4 years of experience in teaching English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.55,000 per month, along with other benefits as per the school's policies.
