PGT Sociology Teacher Job in Hisar, Haryana
Teach Sociology to high school students at Palladium School, focusing on engaging them with contemporary social issues, cultural studies, and theoretical frameworks. Design lesson plans that blend academic rigor with real-world relevance, ensuring students grasp concepts like social stratification, urbanization, and social movements.
Develop and implement assessment methods that evaluate critical thinking and analytical skills. Collaborate with the curriculum team to align Sociology lessons with national education standards, ensuring a balanced approach to both theory and practical applications.
Prepare and maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and participation. Act as a mentor to junior teachers, sharing insights on teaching methodologies and classroom management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a postgraduate degree in Sociology or a related field. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with at least two years of teaching experience in Sociology or a relevant subject. Experience in high school environments preferred.
Salary for this role is Rs.38,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, with the opportunity to grow based on performance and institutional contributions. Located in Hisar, Haryana, this position offers a dynamic setting for shaping young minds with a strong foundation in Sociology.
