Your Students
As a TGT Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to classes 9-12 in our school. Our students come from various backgrounds and learning levels, and you will be expected to cater to their diverse needs. You will work closely with the school's inclusive education team to develop lesson plans that engage and support all learners.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver lessons on Chemistry to classes 9-12
- Create and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding
- Develop and implement differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning levels
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide policies
- Participate in staff meetings and parent-teacher conferences
- Maintain accurate records of student progress
- Participate in professional development to improve teaching skills
- Assist with administrative tasks as required
Eligibility Criteria
- Post-graduate degree in Chemistry or a relevant field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- 3 years of experience in teaching Chemistry
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
