About This Role
Amrita Devi International School Kalwas Hisar is seeking an accomplished TGT Science Teacher to lead the Science department, with opportunities to rise to a Head of Department position. The successful candidate will oversee the Science curriculum, mentor junior staff, and strive for excellence in board results.
Key Responsibilities
As a senior TGT Science Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing the Science curriculum for classes VI-XII
- Mentoring junior staff to improve teaching methods and student outcomes
- Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress
- Preparing and administering board exams, including question papers and marking schemes
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress reports
- Participating in school events, including science fairs and exhibitions
- Staying updated with the latest developments in Science education and incorporating them into the curriculum
- Providing guidance and support to students on career choices in Science
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you should possess a B.Ed. degree and at least 5 years of teaching experience. A postgraduate degree in Science (M.Sc.) is highly desirable. While a NET or SET certification is not mandatory, it is preferred.
