This senior Evs teaching position at Dbk International School in Narwana, Jind is designed for an experienced educator ready to lead the NTT Evs department. Plan and deliver the full NTT Evs syllabus aligned with Dbk International School’s inquiry-based approach, ensuring age-appropriate understanding of environment and community topics. Monitor student progress through portfolios and anecdotal records, identifying early needs for additional Evs activities or support.
Create monthly Evs theme boxes, story kits, and field trip plans that connect classroom learning to local surroundings in Narwana and Jind. Collaborate with the NTT coordinator to integrate Evs with language and math through hands-on projects.
Mentor two to three junior Evs teachers, conducting weekly reflection sessions and modeling effective Evs teaching strategies during demonstrations. Lead Evs department meetings to review lesson plans, assessment data, and resource sharing.
Organize Evs exhibitions twice a year where NTT students present their environment projects to parents and senior staff. Maintain the Evs teaching-learning material corner with low-cost, locally sourced resources.
Support the transition of NTT Evs learners to Grade 1 by sharing detailed progress reports with Grade 1 teachers. Contribute to the school’s annual academic report highlighting Evs milestones and student growth.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized Indian university is mandatory. Minimum five years of Evs teaching experience in NTT or lower KG settings is required.
TET/CTET certification is preferred but not compulsory. Familiarity with Dbk International School’s inquiry-based curriculum framework is an advantage.
Experience with bilingual Evs instruction in Hindi and English is beneficial. Knowledge of local Jind environment topics and seasonal agricultural cycles will enrich classroom discussions.
