What You Will Do
Own the NTT Hindi curriculum for Nursery to Class II at Scholers International School, aligning lessons with CBSE guidelines and local pedagogical needs. Design monthly teaching plans, activity sheets, and assessment tools for Hindi language development in young learners. Integrate storytelling, rhymes, and phonics to build foundational Hindi skills in a joyful classroom setting.
Monitor student progress through regular observations and simple record-keeping. Conduct parent-teacher meetings in Hindi and English to share child development updates. Collaborate with the English and EVS teams to create cross-curricular connections that reinforce Hindi vocabulary and concepts.
Guide two to three junior Hindi teachers, sharing lesson ideas and classroom management techniques. Organize Hindi recitation competitions and cultural events for the school community. Support the Hindi department head in compiling quarterly progress reports for the school leadership.
Ensure smooth conduct of Hindi exams for Classes I and II, maintaining transparency in grading and feedback. Contribute to the annual academic calendar by suggesting Hindi-focused events and celebrations. Stay updated with CBSE circulars and incorporate new teaching aids or digital tools as needed.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory for this NTT Hindi Teacher position at Scholers International School. Minimum five years of teaching experience in Hindi at the pre-primary or primary level is required. TET or CTET certification, while not mandatory, will be considered an added advantage.
