Role
PGT Biology Teacher at Lumina World School in Jind, Haryana. Full‑time position requiring a post‑graduate degree in Biology and a minimum of three years teaching experience.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging biology lessons for classes 9 and 10, aligning with the state curriculum. Develop practical lab sessions that foster inquiry and critical thinking. Assess student progress through continuous and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback. Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and support school events related to science education. Mentor junior teachers and collaborate with peers across subjects to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Biology. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated knowledge of modern biology concepts and laboratory techniques.
Experience
Three years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in a co‑educational school setting. Proven ability to manage a classroom, design experiments, and use educational technology to enhance learning.
Compensation
Salary range Rs.30,000 – Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
