About This Role
As a PGT Biology Teacher at Motilal Nehru Public School, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young students. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and effective Biology lessons to students of various age groups.
Pedagogy and Tools

What You Will Do
- Design and deliver Biology lessons to students of various age groups, adapting to the needs of each class
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations in the Biology laboratory, encouraging students to participate and learn by doing
- Use digital tools to create engaging lesson plans, quizzes, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles
- Use our LMS to upload and track student assignments, grades, and progress
- Integrate technology to enhance student learning, such as using educational apps and online resources
- Develop and implement project-based learning activities that encourage students to think critically and solve problems
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Biology curriculum
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students who require extra help
- Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum development, assessment, and other relevant issues
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should have a Postgraduate degree in Biology (M.Sc) with a strong background in teaching Biology at the secondary and higher secondary levels. You should have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar role. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is a must for this position, and TET or CTET certification is preferred.
Preferred Skills
You should be well-versed in digital literacy, with a strong understanding of online teaching tools and platforms. You should be able to effectively integrate technology into your teaching practices, using tools such as Google Classroom, LMS, and educational apps to enhance student learning.
