Lumina World School | Jind invites applications for a full‑time PGT Computer Science Teacher. Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons that align with the state curriculum and school objectives. Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools that cater to diverse learning styles. Coordinate with subject coordinators to integrate interdisciplinary projects, ensuring that Computer Science concepts complement other subjects. Participate in curriculum development meetings, contributing ideas for innovative teaching methods and assessment strategies.
Maintain accurate attendance records, report cards, and other required documentation in a timely manner. Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events as required, contributing to a collaborative school culture.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field and possesses a minimum of four years of teaching experience at the secondary level. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required; TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate a strong command of computer science concepts and the ability to translate complex ideas into accessible lessons for students.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective instruction and collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students. A passion for technology, creativity in lesson design, and a commitment to student success are key attributes.
