Core responsibilities
- Deliver PGT level Hindi instruction to Classes IX‑XII with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Prepare and update teaching material, worksheets and assessment tools.
- Conduct periodic formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Organise Hindi literary events, debates and cultural programmes within the school.
- Collaborate with other subject heads for interdisciplinary projects.
- Maintain accurate attendance and academic records as per school policy.
- Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
- Contribute to the school’s Hindi teaching job in Jind, Jind outreach initiatives.
- Uphold disciplinary standards and create a respectful classroom atmosphere.
What you bring to the table
- Post‑graduate degree in Hindi or related field with B.Ed/D.El.Ed certification.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a school setting.
- Strong command of Hindi literature, grammar and contemporary teaching methodologies.
- TET or CTET qualification is preferred and will be an added advantage.
- Proven ability to engage students and foster a love for the Hindi language.
