PGT Philosophy Teacher Job in Jind, Haryana | School Recruitment
Adi Sankracharya Convent Public School in Safidon, Jind, invites applications for a PGT Philosophy Teacher to join its esteemed faculty. Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging classroom sessions covering core philosophy topics such as ethics, metaphysics, and epistemology. Monitor student progress in philosophy-related assignments and projects to provide timely feedback. Prepare and distribute study materials, including textbooks, notes, and supplementary readings, to support classroom learning.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with the philosophy department to ensure curriculum alignment with national education standards and school policies. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies, resource allocation, and student performance trends. Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate philosophical concepts across different grades where relevant. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and philosophical assessments for reporting and academic planning.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend faculty development workshops or seminars focused on philosophical pedagogy and educational innovations. Conduct parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance in philosophy and address any concerns regarding academic progress. Prepare annual reports or summaries on philosophy teaching methodologies, student achievements, and areas for improvement to share with the school management.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Philosophy with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification for teaching roles. Possess at least five years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school environment. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid teaching certification is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to teach philosophy at the secondary level with a focus on critical analysis and ethical reasoning is essential.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive monthly salary of Rs.35,000 to Rs.65,000, along with other benefits as per school norms.
