Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Dance curriculum for classes from nursery to 12th standard.
- Conduct regular classes for students, focusing on improving their dance skills and knowledge.
- Mentor junior staff members, guiding them in their teaching and professional development.
- Collaborate with the Vice Principal to ensure the department's goals and objectives are met.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure student performance and progress.
- Participate in school events, such as annual functions, cultural festivals, and competitions.
- Maintain a well-organized and tidy classroom environment, ensuring a safe and healthy learning space for students.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and motivation.
- Work closely with the administration to ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Eligibility Criteria
A graduate in Dance or a related field, with a B.Ed. degree from a recognized university, is essential. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required, with a preference for candidates who have cleared the NET or SET exam.
