A PRT Evs Teacher vacancy in Jind is open for someone who can take classes I–V and make environmental studies feel alive through stories, charts, and local walks. Motilal Nehru Public School expects the teacher to link textbook chapters on plants, water, and animals to the wheat fields and ponds around Jind. Two years of classroom practice is the floor; familiarity with Haryana’s school calendar and summer breaks is a plus.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan weekly Evs themes that align with the NCERT syllabus and local surroundings.
Conduct hands-on activities—seed germination, water-cycle models, cleanliness drives—using low-cost materials.
Take students on short nature walks within school premises and nearby green patches.
Maintain Evs corner with updated charts, specimens, and student work.
Organize monthly project displays where children explain their findings in simple Hindi or English.
Collaborate with PRTs in English and Hindi to plan cross-subject activities like chart-making in Hindi class that supports Evs vocabulary.
Attend weekly grade-level meetings to share observations and adjust plans.
Prepare quarterly progress notes highlighting skills like observation, teamwork, and curiosity.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Two years of teaching experience in primary classes.
Preference for candidates who have appeared for TET or CTET.
Familiarity with Haryana’s school system and medium of instruction flexibility.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.16,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, fixed for the academic year.
School holidays and summer breaks as per Haryana government norms.
Access to in-house resource library and local field-trip support.
Tea and snacks allowance during school hours.
