Psychological Counsellor Position at Lumina World School, Jind
Lumina World School in Jind is seeking a dedicated Psychological Counsellor to support students’ mental health and well-being. This full-time role focuses on administrative and leadership responsibilities to ensure a safe, supportive environment for learners. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering emotional resilience among students.
To qualify, the candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Psychology or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed or D.El.Ed) is beneficial but not mandatory. Experience in school counseling or mental health support is preferred, though not strictly required.
In this role, you will conduct individual and group counseling sessions, collaborate with teachers and parents to address behavioral concerns, and develop strategies to promote mental health awareness. You will also assist in organizing workshops and training programs for students and staff on emotional well-being. Your role involves documenting progress, maintaining confidentiality, and reporting concerns to the school administration as needed.
The salary for this position ranges from Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. The school values your ability to create a nurturing space where students feel heard and supported.
