You will also utilize our Learning Management System (LMS) to track student progress and provide personalized feedback.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver lessons on Home Science topics, including food science, nutrition, and textile science.
- Utilize smart boards to create engaging and interactive lessons.
- Leverage Google Classroom to facilitate online discussions and assignments.
- Track student progress and provide personalized feedback using our LMS.
- Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Home Science (M.Sc) with a specialization in Home Science, and a B.Ed/D.El.Ed. degree. At least 2 years of experience in teaching Home Science at a school level is required. You must also possess a strong understanding of digital literacy and online teaching tools.
Preferred Skills
A strong understanding of digital literacy and online teaching tools is preferred. You should be familiar with Google Classroom, smart boards, and Learning Management Systems (LMS). You should also be able to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
