St. Meera Convent School in Kalayat, Kaithal, Haryana is seeking a skilled PRT Dance Teacher to join our faculty. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students of various age groups the art of Dance, including both practical and theoretical aspects.
Pedagogy and Tools
As a Dance Teacher at St. Meera Convent School, you will be working with a variety of tools and methods to help students understand and appreciate the nuances of Dance. This will include using visual aids, props, and hands-on activities to make learning engaging and interactive. What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver lessons to students of various age groups, incorporating both practical and theoretical aspects of Dance.
- Use various teaching methods, including hands-on activities, visual aids, and technology, to make learning engaging and interactive.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded curriculum.
- Participate in school events, such as cultural programs and performances, to showcase student talent.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and development.
- Keep abreast of developments in Dance education and incorporate new ideas and techniques into your teaching practice.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
- Assist the Head of the Department in planning and implementing Dance programs and activities.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field, such as Music or Theater Arts. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is also preferred. Additionally, a valid TET or CTET certification would be considered an asset.
