Evs (PRT) Vacancy in Kaithal, Haryana
Hindu Sr. Sec. School
Job Description
About This Role
Hindu Sr. Sec. School is looking for a PRT Evs Teacher to join a close-knit team serving students from Kaithal and surrounding villages. Your primary focus will be on making Evs engaging for young learners while aligning lessons with the school’s academic goals. This role offers the chance to shape foundational environmental awareness among children aged 6 to 11 in a supportive school environment.
Your Students
You will teach Evs to students in Grades 1 through 5, most of whom come from local families in Kaithal. Many are first-generation learners, so your teaching approach must blend local context with standard curriculum requirements. The school encourages teachers to use real-life examples from Kaithal’s surroundings—farms, markets, and local flora—to make lessons relatable.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver Evs lessons for Grades 1 to 5, ensuring content is age-appropriate and aligned with the school’s curriculum. Use simple experiments, charts, and local examples to explain topics like plants, animals, and environmental care. Organize monthly Evs-related activities such as nature walks, cleanliness drives, and seed-planting sessions in the school garden.
Assess student progress through informal quizzes, drawing exercises, and group discussions rather than formal tests. Prepare monthly reports on student participation and learning outcomes in Evs for the school management. Collaborate with other PRT teachers to integrate Evs themes into school events like Independence Day and Environment Day.
Conduct parent-teacher meetings twice a year to share student progress in Evs and suggest simple ways parents can support learning at home. Maintain a clean and organized Evs corner in the classroom with relevant teaching aids, charts, and student projects.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with specialization in Evs or science. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary classes, preferably in Evs or environmental studies. Fluency in Hindi and basic English required; knowledge of local Haryanvi dialect is an advantage.
Skills We Value
Ability to simplify complex environmental concepts for young learners using local examples. Strong classroom management skills with patience and creativity in handling diverse student needs. Willingness to participate in school events and work as part of a small, committed teaching team.
Perks and Pay
Salary offered is Rs.12,000 to Rs.20,000 per month based on experience and qualifications. Regular in-service training and access to basic teaching materials provided. Opportunity to contribute to school initiatives like cleanliness campaigns and green projects. Hindu Sr. Sec. School offers a family-like work environment with supportive colleagues and motivated students.
