- Own the Mathematics curriculum for grades 6 to 10, ensuring alignment with state standards and school objectives.
- Mentor junior teachers, providing guidance on lesson planning, assessment design, and classroom management.
- Lead the Mathematics department’s curriculum review cycle, incorporating data-driven insights to refine instructional practices.
- Coordinate inter‑disciplinary projects that integrate mathematics with science and technology, enhancing cross‑curricular learning.

Core responsibilities

- Design and deliver high‑quality Mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Develop formative and summative assessments, analyze results, and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Facilitate student inquiry through problem‑solving sessions and mathematical debates.
- Maintain accurate attendance, grade books, and student progress reports.
- Participate in faculty meetings, contributing to school‑wide initiatives and policy discussions.
- Engage parents through regular communication about student progress and classroom activities.
- Stay current with educational technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Support school events, such as math competitions and science fairs, representing the department.

What you bring to the table

- Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification; TET/CTET preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar NTT role.
- Demonstrated ability to create inclusive learning environments that promote critical thinking.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Hindi, facilitating effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with digital tools for Mathematics instruction and assessment.
