About This Role
As a senior faculty member at Max International School, the PGT Computer Science Teacher will play a crucial role in leading the Computer Science department in Assandh, Karnal, Haryana. Day-to-Day Duties
- Design and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons for students from classes 6 to 12
- Take ownership of the Computer Science curriculum, ensuring alignment with Haryana Board requirements
- Mentor junior staff members to develop their teaching skills and subject knowledge
- Conduct regular assessment and evaluations to ensure students achieve excellent results in Computer Science
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to improve student learning outcomes
- Provide guidance to students on career options in Computer Science and related fields
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to improve student performance and academic standards
- Supervise and evaluate student projects and assignments in Computer Science
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Computer Science and integrate them into the curriculum
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at a senior secondary school level is also required. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the NET or SET examination in Computer Science.
Learning and Development
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the Vice Principal track at Max International School.
