The PRT Science Teacher will design and implement hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and interactive activities to make complex scientific concepts accessible. Daily classroom management includes ensuring students grasp foundational and advanced science topics through practical applications, ensuring active participation and understanding. Collaboration with science lab staff is essential for maintaining equipment and preparing materials for experiments.
A strong foundation in biology, chemistry, and physics is required, along with the ability to simplify scientific theories for diverse learning levels. Experience in guiding students through scientific inquiry and problem-solving is highly valued. The role demands patience, creativity, and a passion for nurturing young minds in STEM fields.
Qualified candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree and a graduate background in science. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, it is advantageous for career progression. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in science-related subjects, is preferred but not strictly necessary for this position.
