Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Sanskrit lessons for classes 6 to 8, incorporating classical texts and modern interpretations.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment materials aligned with the state curriculum.
- Conduct regular oral and written examinations, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Organise and facilitate Sanskrit cultural activities such as recitation competitions, puja sessions, and annual festivals.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson logs, and student progress reports.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Sanskrit content across interdisciplinary projects.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum review sessions.
- Mentor junior teachers and interns, offering guidance on teaching techniques and classroom management.
- Ensure the classroom environment supports respectful discussion of Sanskrit literature and philosophy.
- Keep abreast of contemporary Sanskrit scholarship and incorporate relevant resources into teaching.
Qualifications
- Post‑graduate degree in Sanskrit or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred; TET/CTET not mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.

Salary
- Rs.20,000 – Rs.30,000 per month.
