Job Overview
Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan, Mahendergarh is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our team as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Physical Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in Physical Education, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Pedagogy and Tools
As a PGT Physical Education Teacher, you will use practical methods and tools to teach Physical Education, such as sports equipment, fitness apps, and video analysis software. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing innovative physical education programs, including sports and games, to promote physical fitness and well-being among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Physical Education classes
- Teach and mentor students in various sports and games, including cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball
- Organize and conduct physical fitness activities, including yoga and aerobics
- Develop and implement sports programs for students, including competitions and tournaments
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement interdisciplinary programs
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school events and activities
- Develop and implement physical education programs for students with special needs
- Collaborate with parents and community members to promote physical education and sports activities
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Physical Education or a related field, such as B.P.Ed or M.P.Ed. Candidates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification are also welcome to apply. TET or CTET certification is not mandatory but preferred. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Physical Education is required.
