Physics is taught through a mix of classroom lectures, lab work, and project-based learning. The teacher must simplify advanced topics like mechanics, electricity, and modern physics for middle and senior secondary students. Maintaining a lab with necessary equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed is part of the responsibilities.
Collaboration with other teachers and school management is essential for curriculum development and student support. The ideal candidate will also mentor students in extracurricular physics clubs or competitions. The salary for this position is Rs. 32,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, with full-time employment in a supportive educational environment.
A postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Physics, will be beneficial. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, having it will enhance your credibility in the school. The role demands enthusiasm for physics education and the ability to inspire students to explore scientific inquiry.
