Job Description
Role Summary
The PRT Hindi Teacher will plan and deliver Hindi language lessons for Grades 1 to 5 at Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan, Kanina. You will foster reading, writing and speaking skills while nurturing pride in local culture and literature.
Your Students
Students at Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan come from Kanina, Nangal Pathani and surrounding villages of Mahendragarh district. Many are first-generation learners who speak Haryanvi at home and need structured Hindi exposure to transition smoothly into formal education.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan weekly Hindi lesson plans aligned with NCERT and local board expectations.
Conduct daily reading circles and dictation exercises for Grades 1–5.
Organize monthly Hindi kavi sammelan and kavita path sessions for parents and villagers.
Coordinate with PRTs of other subjects for cross-curricular Hindi projects.
Prepare simple graded readers and flashcards using local themes like seasonal festivals and folk tales.
Hold bi-weekly parent meetings to share student progress and suggest home-based Hindi activities.
Participate in village mela visits to promote the importance of mother-tongue learning.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Hindi as one of the subjects.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
Minimum three years of teaching Hindi at primary level preferred.
Familiarity with local Haryanvi dialect and folk literature is an advantage.
