Role Summary
The Psychological Counsellor plays a vital role in the administration and leadership of S.d Sr. Sec. School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological guidance and support to students, teachers, and parents, ensuring a positive learning environment and promoting the overall well-being of the school community.

What You Will Do
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions with students, teachers, and parents to address emotional, social, and psychological issues.
- Develop and implement school-based programs to promote mental health, wellness, and positive relationships.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement policies and procedures related to student behaviour and discipline.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns in student behaviour and develop interventions to address these issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations to provide additional support and resources for students and staff.
- Participate in staff training and professional development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in areas related to psychological counselling.
- Provide support and guidance to teachers and administrators in responding to students with exceptional needs.
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for students with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- A postgraduate degree in Psychology or a related field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a school or educational setting, working as a Psychological Counsellor or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of psychological theories, research methods, and assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Good to Have:
- Experience working with diverse populations, including students with exceptional needs.
- Knowledge of Indian education system and laws related to education.
- Ability to speak and write in local languages, including Hindi and Haryanvi.
