How You Will Teach
Our Chemistry Teacher will be using smart boards to create engaging lessons, while leveraging Google Classroom to share resources and assignments with students. Blended learning is a key aspect of our approach, and the successful candidate will be required to design and implement lesson plans that incorporate both traditional and digital teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key duties:
* Designing and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons using smart boards and Google Classroom
* Creating and sharing resources and assignments with students through our LMS
* Conducting regular assessments and providing feedback to students using digital tools
* Integrating technology into Chemistry experiments and investigations
* Developing and implementing blended learning lesson plans
* Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
* Participating in professional development to enhance digital literacy skills
* Maintaining records of student progress and grades using our LMS
* Providing support to students outside of class hours through online resources and feedback
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a post-graduate degree in Chemistry and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not essential.
Preferred Skills
We are looking for a teacher with excellent digital literacy skills and experience using online teaching tools. The successful candidate will be proficient in using Google Classroom, LMS, and smart boards, and will be able to integrate technology into Chemistry lessons.
