About This Role
As a senior member of the Music department at Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan, Mahendergarh, you will play a key role in shaping the music curriculum and mentoring junior staff. With over three years of experience, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of music education in the school. What You Will Do
- Develop and implement an effective music curriculum for the school, aligned with the CBSE guidelines.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members, including TGT Music Teachers, to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular music performances and competitions to promote creativity and talent among students.
- Collaborate with the Vice Principal to develop and implement school policies and programs related to music education.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and provide feedback on music performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local music institutions and organizations to provide opportunities for students.
- Assist in the organization of concerts, festivals, and other music-related events.
- Conduct music workshops and training programs for teachers and students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate and improve the music program to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
- Participate in the school's quality improvement initiatives to enhance music education.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a minimum of a postgraduate degree in Music or a related field. A B.Ed degree is also required. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the NET or SET examination. A minimum of five years of experience in teaching music in a school setting is required. Candidates with experience in music education in Haryana will be preferred.
