Assisting in organizing science fairs, workshops, and extracurricular activities related to chemistry, such as model-making competitions.
Preparing and grading assignments, exams, and continuous evaluation reports to track student progress.
Collaborating with the Science Department to update textbooks, lab equipment, and teaching resources based on student feedback and curriculum updates.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Chemistry with a specialization in the subject is mandatory. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is required for teaching positions at this level.
Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in high school or senior secondary education.
A Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Compensation and Location
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.50,000 to Rs.80,000 per month, along with additional benefits such as a modest allowance for travel and professional development.
