The opportunity for an experienced educator
Vidya Vatika World School invites a dynamic PGT Physical Education teacher to join our vibrant campus in Panipat. Leadership expectations and curriculum ownership
- Design and implement a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum aligned with state guidelines.
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate inter‑school sports meets.
- Introduce innovative teaching methods and fitness technologies.
- Lead the annual sports day and manage equipment procurement.
Core responsibilities
- Conduct practical and theoretical PE classes for classes IX to XII.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments and progress reports for each student.
- Organize intra‑school tournaments, coaching sessions and extracurricular clubs.
- Ensure safety standards during all physical activities and maintain equipment.
- Collaborate with the school’s health counsellor for student wellness programmes.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the overall academic planning.
- Maintain records of attendance, injuries and medical clearances.
- Foster a culture of sportsmanship and teamwork among students.
- Support community outreach initiatives involving sports and fitness.
What you bring to the table
- Post‑graduate qualification with B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Physical Education.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
- TET/CTET certification preferred, demonstrating competence in school teaching standards.
- Proven track record of managing school‑level sports events and coaching teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage students of diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and benefits
