Job Overview
D R Memorial Public School in Panipat, Haryana invites applications for a PRT Dance Teacher Vacancy in Panipat. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Dance to students from Nursery to Class X. The position is based in Panipat, Haryana and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dance teaching.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and implement Dance lessons for students from Nursery to Class X.
2. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.
3. Prepare and submit lesson plans, progress reports, and other required documents.
4. Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to develop a comprehensive curriculum.
6. Attend staff meetings and participate in school events.
7. Supervise students during Dance practice and performances.
8. Develop and implement Dance clubs and extracurricular activities.
9. Maintain accurate attendance and student records.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed in Dance or related field
- Teaching experience of at least 2 years
- Strong background in Dance teaching
- TET/CTET certification (not mandatory)
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching Dance to students with special needs
- Knowledge of Music and Movement
- Ability to speak Hindi and English fluently
Preferred Skills
• Proficiency in Dance styles such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and contemporary
• Ability to use technology to enhance Dance lessons
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of first-aid and emergency procedures
• Familiarity with school policies and procedures
