About This Role
As a seasoned PRT Science Teacher at Sir Chhotu Ram Heritage School Panipat, you will be part of a dynamic team of educators dedicated to fostering academic excellence and nurturing young minds. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Science teacher to take on a leadership role in our school's Science department.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement an engaging Science curriculum for students in grades 6-10, aligning with Haryana state board standards.
- Coach students for board exams, providing individualized support and guidance to ensure they meet their academic potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and assessment methods.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and staff to ensure academic progress.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive Science laboratory environment that promotes hands-on learning and experimentation.
- Stay updated on the latest Science curriculum developments and best practices in teaching and learning.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events that promote Science education and awareness.
- Contribute to the development of Science clubs and extracurricular activities that foster a love of Science among students.
- Mentor and support new teachers and staff members in the Science department.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting. A Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a relevant postgraduate degree is also desirable. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
