Role and Subject
The position is for a TGT Social Science Teacher at D.a.v Cent. Public School located in Samalkha, Panipat, Haryana. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive Social Science curriculum to students in classes VI to VIII.
Professional Scope
As a full‑time educator, you will design lesson plans that align with state guidelines and foster critical thinking about history, geography, civics, and economics. Your work will include classroom instruction, assessment, and collaborative planning with fellow teachers to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
Most Important Responsibilities
You will manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment. Assessment of student progress through tests, projects, and class participation will be a key task. Maintaining accurate attendance and attendance records, and communicating with parents about student performance, are also essential duties.
Subject‑Specific Duties
Prepare and deliver lessons that integrate current events and local history to make the content relatable for students in Panipat. Use diverse teaching aids such as maps, charts, and multimedia resources to cater to varied learning styles. Conduct field trips to nearby historical sites and civic institutions to provide experiential learning opportunities.

Salary
