About This Role
Rps Public School | Kosli invites applications for the position of IIT Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. As a Mathematics teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in grades 9-12. Pedagogy and Tools
Our Mathematics department uses a range of pedagogical approaches, including problem-based learning, inquiry-based learning, and technology integration. We also provide opportunities for students to engage in mathematical modeling, graphing, and data analysis using graphing calculators and computer software. As an IIT Mathematics Teacher, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with best practices in Mathematics education and to use a variety of tools and techniques to engage students and promote deep understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver mathematics lessons to students in grades 9-12
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Develop and implement curriculum materials that align with state and national standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide mathematics initiatives
- Participate in school-wide professional development opportunities to enhance mathematics instruction
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
- Assist in extracurricular mathematics activities and competitions
- Develop and implement differentiated instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles
- Analyze student data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes
- Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to measure student understanding
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field (M.Sc, M.A., M.Com)
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a school setting (5+ years)
- Familiarity with Indian mathematics curriculum and assessment tools
- Proven track record of improving student outcomes in Mathematics
