Who You Will Teach
The position involves teaching English to students aged 3 to 6 years in Nursery, LKG, and UKG classes. Classes are diverse, with learners from varied socio-economic and linguistic backgrounds in Rewari. The classroom environment is designed to support inclusion, ensuring no child feels left behind.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare and deliver age-appropriate English lessons using stories, rhymes, and phonics activities. Differentiate instruction to cater to different learning paces and abilities within the same class. Use visual aids, gestures, and simple local language when needed to reinforce understanding.
Assess student progress through informal observations and playful evaluations rather than formal tests. Collaborate with co-teachers to plan weekly themes and activities that align with the school’s early literacy goals. Maintain a warm, encouraging classroom atmosphere where children feel safe to speak and make mistakes.
Organize circle time discussions and show-and-tell sessions to build speaking confidence. Keep parents informed about their child’s progress through informal updates and classroom stories. Ensure classroom materials like flashcards, puppets, and picture books are well-organized and accessible.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this role. Prior experience in early childhood education or NTT teaching is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Strong communication skills to explain concepts simply and clearly to young learners. Patience and empathy to handle diverse classroom needs and behaviors. Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices to support children with varying learning abilities.
What You Get
