Job Overview
As a PGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature to students of classes XI and XII. You will be expected to prepare and deliver lesson plans, assess student progress, and contribute to the development of the English curriculum.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare and deliver lesson plans for English Language and Literature
2. Assess student progress and provide feedback
3. Develop and implement English language skills in students
4. Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings
5. Participate in school events and activities
6. Mark and assess student assignments and exams
7. Maintain student records and attendance
8. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies
Eligibility Criteria
1. Post-graduate degree in English Literature or a relevant field
2. B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree or equivalent
3. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
4. Proficiency in English Language and Literature
5. Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and pedagogy
