PGT Physics Teacher Job in Rewari, Haryana | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
At Suraj School, the PGT Physics Teacher is responsible for making complex concepts like quantum physics and electromagnetism understandable for senior secondary students. Lesson planning must align with CBSE standards while keeping experiments practical within limited lab space. Daily teaching includes handling classes from 8 AM to 2 PM with short breaks for staff room tea.
What you will actually do
Prepare weekly lesson plans covering topics from electrostatics to modern physics as per the prescribed syllabus.
Conduct classroom teaching using whiteboard demonstrations, animated videos, and simple experiments that can be set up with basic lab equipment.
Organize monthly unit tests and term-end exams, then analyze results to identify students needing extra help.
Hold remedial sessions during free periods for students scoring below 40% in Physics tests.
Coordinate with the lab assistant to maintain inventory of physics apparatus and ensure timely repairs.
Attend staff meetings to discuss student performance and suggest improvements in teaching methods.
Prepare students for CBSE board exams by revising important formulas, derivations, and numerical problems.
Submit progress reports to the principal every quarter highlighting class averages and problem areas.
Who can do this job
Postgraduate degree in Physics with minimum 55% marks.
B.Ed degree in Physical Science or Science.
Two years of teaching experience in Physics at the senior secondary level.
Preference for candidates familiar with CBSE curriculum and exam patterns.

Strong command over Physics concepts up to Class 12 level.
Ability to explain difficult topics in simple Hindi and English.
Patience to handle slow learners without losing temper.
