PRT Art and Craft Teacher Position at Suraj School Dharuhera
We seek a dedicated Art and Craft teacher to join Suraj School Dharuhera as a Primary Teacher (PRT) for our creative arts program. This role focuses on inspiring young minds through hands-on craft activities, fostering creativity, and developing fine motor skills. Your expertise will shape students’ artistic expression while aligning with our school’s educational philosophy.
Key Responsibilities in Art and Craft Teaching
Design and implement engaging Art and Craft lessons tailored to diverse learning levels. Utilize materials like clay, paper, textiles, and natural elements to create interactive projects. Supervise students during craft sessions, ensuring safety and proper use of tools. Collaborate with the curriculum team to integrate creative activities into broader learning objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a passion for visual arts. Experience in teaching Art and Craft at the primary level is highly valued. A TET/CTET certificate will be considered an asset but is not mandatory for this role.
Experience and Skills
Two years of teaching experience in an educational setting preferred. Strong knowledge of age-appropriate craft techniques and materials. Ability to adapt lessons for students with varying abilities. Creativity and patience in guiding students through hands-on projects.
Compensation and Location
