How You Will Teach (specific to Art And Craft — practical methods, tools, lab or activity work)
As a PRT Art And Craft Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a conducive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. You will utilize various Art And Craft techniques, including painting, drawing, pottery, and textile crafts, to engage students and foster their artistic skills. The Art And Craft Teacher will also ensure that students develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and color recognition through interactive activities and projects.
Key Responsibilities (8 duties specific to Art And Craft teaching)
- Plan and implement Art And Craft lessons for students from class 1 to 5.
- Develop and display student artwork in the school's Art Gallery and exhibitions.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Art And Craft with other subjects, such as language arts and math.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Art And Craft room and its equipment.
- Utilize various Art And Craft materials, including paints, brushes, scissors, and art supplies.
- Encourage students to explore their creativity and imagination through Art And Craft activities.
- Develop and implement Art And Craft projects that align with the school's curriculum and educational goals.
- Supervise and assist students during Art And Craft activities and projects.
Required Qualifications (Art And Craft-specific degrees and certifications)
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in Art Education or a related field is mandatory for this position. Prior experience in teaching Art And Craft to students is preferred. TET or CTET certification is not required for this role.

- Proficiency in various Art And Craft techniques, including painting, drawing, pottery, and textile crafts.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive Art And Craft lessons for students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe Art And Craft room and its equipment.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, along with other benefits as per school policy.
