PRT Dance Teacher Job in Rewari, Haryana | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
At Suraj School Dharuhera a typical day starts with preparing the dance studio, arranging music and props, and greeting a small group of primary students. You will guide children through basic steps, cultural routines and simple choreography, ensuring safety and enjoyment. The job involves coordinating with class teachers for integrated activities and maintaining attendance records.
What you will actually do
- Conduct daily PRT Dance Teacher classes for classes I to V, following the school curriculum.
- Design age‑appropriate dance routines that reflect Indian folk and contemporary styles.
- Demonstrate movements, correct posture and rhythm, and provide individual feedback.
- Organise quarterly cultural programs and school functions where students perform.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids and assessment sheets for each session.
- Maintain the dance area, ensuring equipment is stored safely and the floor is clean.
- Communicate student progress to parents and class teachers during meetings.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute ideas for extracurricular enrichment.
Who can do this job
- Graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed in any relevant stream.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- TET/CTET qualification preferred but not mandatory.
