What You Will Do
- Teach Mathematics to students of various age groups and abilities, ensuring that they understand the subject matter and develop a love for learning.
- Create engaging lesson plans and teach a range of Mathematics topics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and understanding.
- Use technology to enhance the learning experience, such as educational software and online resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide mathematics programs.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and set goals for improvement.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in mathematics education.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field is required. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is also necessary for this position. TET/CTET certification is desirable but not mandatory. A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Mathematics is required.
