Classroom Profile
Our Chemistry classroom in Rohtak is a diverse learning environment where students from different backgrounds and learning levels come together to learn. As a PGT Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students in grades 9-12. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of all learners, including those with special needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of all learners, including those with special needs, in a Chemistry classroom setting.
- Use differentiated instruction to engage students of varying learning levels and abilities.
- Develop and implement inclusive pedagogy to promote equity and excellence in learning.
- Support students with special needs in Chemistry classes, as needed.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes.
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss student progress and share best practices.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning in Chemistry classes.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and developments in Chemistry education.
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) or related field.
- Valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not essential.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in teaching Chemistry to students in grades 9-12.
- Knowledge of inclusive pedagogy and its application in the classroom.
- Patience and understanding when dealing with students with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is Rs.50,000 - Rs.80,000 per month.
