About This Role
The Computer Science Teacher Vacancy in Rohtak is for a Post Graduate Teacher who will lead the subject from grades 9 to 12. This role involves designing curriculum-aligned projects, guiding students through competitive programming platforms, and preparing them for board exams as well as higher studies in technology. Experience with CBSE-aligned content and familiarity with modern IDEs and tools is expected.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons that align with CBSE syllabus and project-based learning goals.
Develop hands-on lab sessions using Python, Java, and web technologies to reinforce theoretical concepts.
Mentor students for Olympiads, hackathons, and coding competitions held at regional and national levels.
Prepare term-wise test papers, assignments, and sample papers that reflect current industry trends.
Conduct regular doubt-clearing sessions after school hours to support students who need extra guidance.
Collaborate with the IT coordinator to maintain computer labs, software licenses, and digital safety protocols.
Organize inter-house coding fests and tech fairs to showcase student projects and innovations.
Attend monthly subject-teacher meetings to review curriculum gaps and share best practices across batches.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Computer Science as a teaching subject.
Minimum three years of full-time teaching experience in a senior secondary school environment.
CTET/TET qualification is welcome but not mandatory for this Computer Science Teaching Job in Rohtak.
